Estée Lauder Companies seeks a skilled Makeup Artist to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences at The Cosmetics Company Store in Round Rock, Texas. The role combines creative expertise, technical proficiency, and customer engagement to educate clients while maintaining visual merchandising excellence and driving sales through point-of-sale operations. The successful candidate will collaborate within a high-performing retail team to execute in-store events and support competitive positioning in the prestige beauty market.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized, inspirational makeup artistry and beauty consultation to deliver an elevated in-store customer experience
  • Educate customers on product application, skincare benefits, and cosmetic techniques with authentic, consultative expertise
  • Execute in-store visual merchandising and promotional events to drive brand awareness and sales performance
  • Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently, including transaction processing and customer data management
  • Maintain store cleanliness, product organization, and visual standards consistent with brand guidelines and competitive benchmarks
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales targets and uphold service excellence standards
  • Support inventory management, stock rotation, and product knowledge maintenance across assigned categories

Qualifications

  • Certification in makeup artistry or equivalent professional credentials (preferred)
  • Demonstrable creative and technical expertise in makeup application and color theory
  • Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a retail environment
  • Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software and related digital systems
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Compensation
