The Makeup Artist delivers personalized beauty consultations and customer service, supports in-store events and visual merchandising, and contributes to a high-performing retail team at The Cosmetics Company Store in Orlando. This is a part-time seasonal position, with an anticipated hourly range of $16.50 to $20.00; the exact rate depends on experience, skills, education and budget, and may vary by geographic location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical expertise to deliver customer experiences.
- Work as part of a high-performing team to create impact through in-store events.
- Help ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- Make-up artistry qualifications or previous retail make-up experience are preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in the country must be provided if invited to interview.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.50 to USD 20 per hour.
