The Makeup Artist combines creative and technical expertise to provide personalized customer experiences, support in-store events, and maintain visual merchandising standards. This part-time role welcomes qualified applicants with amateur-level experience and offers an hourly range of $17–$18, plus eligibility for a competitive bonus program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical makeup expertise and a passion for people in customer interactions.
- Contribute to in-store events that create impact.
- Help maintain high visual merchandising standards so the store stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
