Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized make-up application services and beauty consultations to enhance customer experience
- Create inspirational in-store events and demonstrations that showcase product benefits and drive sales
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and product displays to ensure competitive store presentation
- Educate customers on cosmetic products, application techniques, and beauty trends through engaging consultation
- Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver consistent service excellence
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently during all transactions
Qualifications
- Certification or formal qualification in make-up artistry (preferred but not required)
- Previous retail make-up or beauty counter experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Comfort working retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proof of right to live and work in South Africa
Skills
Experience
Certification in make-up artistry or previous retail make-up experience is preferred; however, applicants demonstrating high-level creative and technical expertise at amateur level are encouraged to apply. Experience with retail point-of-sale software is advantageous.
Education
Formal certification or qualification in make-up artistry is preferred but not required. Applicants with demonstrable creative and technical expertise will be considered.
