Estée Lauder Companies seeks Machinery Technician II for Melville, NY manufacturing facility. $22.75–$37.75/hr, full-time, 2nd shift.
Role & Responsibilities
- Expertly operate complex manufacturing machinery via HMI interfaces, maintaining precise control over production parameters and output quality
- Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance (PM) programs and end-to-end equipment changeovers to maximize uptime and equipment longevity
- Diagnose and differentiate between mechanical and electrical failures, implementing sustainable solutions to minimize operational downtime
- Manage work orders, parts procurement, and asset documentation through CMMS (IBM Maximo)
- Adhere strictly to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and participate actively in EH&S and Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS) initiatives
- Maintain compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices) to ensure product integrity and audit readiness
- Identify and own line-side improvement projects to reduce scrap and prevent deviations
- Demonstrate flexibility in supporting diverse production areas as operational needs require
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and their integration within production environments
- Proficiency in HMI interfaces and production equipment operation
- Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance (PM) methodologies and equipment changeover procedures
- Competency with CMMS software (IBM Maximo), work order management, and asset tracking
- Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures and Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS) principles
- Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices)

Education
