Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Logistics Operations Assistant Manager in Istanbul to oversee 3PL warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily 3PL warehouse operations and ensure service level compliance across B2B, B2C, retail, and e-commerce channels
- Oversee inbound, outbound, returns, and inventory management processes with focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain inventory accuracy across SAP, WMS, and physical stock through cycle counts and annual inventories
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues
- Manage product destruction processes for expired, damaged, obsolete, and non-saleable items
- Coordinate destruction approvals, execution, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor excess and obsolete inventory levels and support reduction initiatives
- Ensure effective use of SAP and WMS systems and resolve operational system issues
- Support automation, digitalization, UAT, and continuous improvement projects
- Manage 3PL relationships and monitor KPIs including productivity, quality, and service performance
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives with logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Prepare operational reports and performance analyses for management review
- Support audits, compliance activities, and quality standards
- Promote cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence, safety standards, and continuous team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 7–8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers
- Proven track record monitoring and improving warehouse performance KPIs
- Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience reconciling inventory data between ERP (SAP) and WMS systems
- Fluency in Turkish with professional proficiency in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Minimum 7–8 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations, including proven expertise in managing third-party logistics providers, monitoring warehouse performance metrics, and overseeing complex inventory reconciliation between ERP and WMS systems.
