Estée Lauder Companies seeks an experienced Logistics and Distribution Buyer in Wollerau, Switzerland, for its EMEA Supply Chain Hub.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for logistics and distribution categories, ensuring service quality and significant cost reductions to support ELC growth in the EMEA region
- Lead or support Category Manager in preparation and execution of sourcing events in a timely manner, driving cost reductions and service quality improvements
- Investigate and analyze market innovations, equipment, services, and solutions to identify new suppliers qualified to conduct business with ELC
- Continuously monitor external market conditions and assess potential impacts on category strategies
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract discussions with legal, implement contracts, and capture them in the system
- Monitor results against established global and regional KPIs using data reporting capabilities
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strategic supplier relationships
- Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and relevant IT solutions
- Review existing category mapping and analyze contracts and end-to-end buying processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with strategic business partners to ensure comprehensive understanding of business requirements
Qualifications
- University degree or apprenticeship in a procurement-related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a procurement function
- Understanding of logistics services including 3PL, freight forwarders, OTR, LTL, FTL, parcel, air freight, ocean freight, inbound/outbound, e-commerce fulfillment, and omnichannel solutions
- Knowledge of warehousing and distribution services
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful sourcing execution
- Strong negotiation skills
- Very good organizational management skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience in e-sourcing solutions preferred

Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement function, with demonstrated expertise in logistics services procurement and supplier management. Experience in multi-regional procurement environments and familiarity with complex sourcing events is preferred.
Education
University degree or apprenticeship in a procurement-related field or equivalent professional qualification.
