The Label Creation Supervisor oversees the creation and management of label artworks for Travel Retail products worldwide, with particular focus on Chinese language labeling at the Hainan Distribution Center. This role bridges design, regulatory compliance, and operations by developing label artwork templates, maintaining procedures, and collaborating across VAS Administration, Regulatory, and Customer Service teams to ensure all output meets brand standards and regulatory requirements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and edit label artworks based on provided specifications and input requirements
- Adapt existing artwork to alternative layouts, formats, and regulatory standards
- Develop, maintain, and update procedures, protocols, and work instructions for VAS operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to standards, deadlines, and quality benchmarks
- Ensure all artwork is consistent, accurate, and compliant with VAS and Regulatory guidelines
- Establish, manage, and archive accurate artwork files and distribute to relevant departments
- Serve as liaison between Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs, and VAS Operations teams
- Generate process documentation, statistical reports, and performance metrics
- Support and optimize label creation workflows and processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including LEAN methodologies
- Execute daily tasks within the Value-Added Services function
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Graphic Design or Bachelor's degree in Arts with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the graphic and printing sector
- Proficiency in knowledge of graphic and printing requirements within a fast-moving consumer goods environment
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
- Strong analytical capabilities and capacity to prioritize effectively
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality output in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Fluent Chinese language skills (speaking and writing); advanced English proficiency is preferred
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Adobe Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); RegOne knowledge is advantageous
- Knowledge of SAP, Business Objects reporting tools, and Warehouse Management Systems is an advantage
