The Estée Lauder Companies seeks a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient store operations. This role leverages outstanding coaching and mentoring skills to lead by example, modeling the behaviors required to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service. The Key Holder will manage essential start and end of day cash reconciliation and share responsibility for opening and closing the store on a rotating basis, combining retail expertise with cash handling proficiency. This position represents an ideal first step into retail supervision for an ambitious self-starter with proven retail experience, particularly in prestige beauty.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor sales team members to demonstrate inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service aligned with company standards
  • Execute opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation and store security on a rotating basis
  • Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in driving sales performance and meeting customer service targets
  • Model exemplary retail behaviors and customer engagement practices for team members
  • Manage point-of-sale operations and cash handling processes
  • Maintain retail compliance and operational standards across all shift activity

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures (desirable)
  • Previous supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring capabilities (desirable)
  • Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
  • Right to live and work in the United States
