Role & Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the efficient, day-to-day operation of the store
- Lead and mentor sales team members through coaching and demonstration of best practices to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Conduct cash reconciliation and financial management at the start and end of each shift
- Perform store opening and closing procedures on a rotational basis
- Model inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service behaviors for the sales team
- Maintain compliance with retail operations standards and procedures
- Support the execution of visual merchandising and promotional initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and opening/closing store procedures
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience with demonstrated coaching and mentoring abilities
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Ability to obtain proof of right to work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience in cosmetics or prestige beauty retail is required. Supervisory or team-lead experience with responsibility for coaching and mentoring others is desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further retail or business education is advantageous.
