Estée Lauder Companies seeks an experienced Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in maintaining efficient store operations within a prestige beauty retail environment. The successful candidate will coach and mentor the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while meeting all sales and customer service targets. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store on a rota basis, cash reconciliation, and modeling the behaviors expected of the sales team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious self-starter with previous retail experience to develop supervisory skills within a leader in prestige beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor sales team members to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
- Open and close the store on a rota basis, including cash reconciliation and security procedures
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient daily store operations
- Model and reinforce required behaviors and standards across the sales team
- Manage customer interactions with authenticity and personalization to enhance the shopping experience
- Carry out essential start and end of day cash handling and reconciliation
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and opening/closing procedures (desirable)
- Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales targets (desirable)
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in the United Kingdom
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience in a customer-facing role, with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members. Experience in cosmetics or prestige beauty retail is preferred. Cash handling and store operations experience is desirable.
Education
