The Estée Lauder Companies seeks an ambitious Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in maintaining efficient store operations and delivering inspirational, personalized customer service. This supervisory role combines leadership responsibilities—including coaching retail staff to achieve sales and service targets—with essential retail operations duties such as cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven retail experience in cosmetics or prestige beauty, seeking entry-level supervisory experience within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example and mentor sales team members to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient store operations
- Conduct opening and closing procedures on a rota basis, including cash reconciliation and end-of-day reconciliation tasks
- Coach and mentor staff to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Demonstrate exceptional retail flair and cash handling expertise
- Model behaviors that exemplify the company's service standards and brand values
- Manage retail operations during assigned shifts to maintain productivity and team engagement
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Desirable: Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing
- Desirable: Previous supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring responsibilities
- Legal right to live and work in the United States
