This is an entry-level supervisory role at a prestige beauty retailer, supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring efficient store operations and exceptional customer service. The Key Holder will leverage coaching and mentoring capabilities to lead the sales team by example, delivering inspirational and personalized service while managing cash reconciliation and store opening and closing duties on a rotational basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
- Coach and mentor the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Conduct start and end-of-day cash reconciliation with accuracy and integrity
- Open and close the store on a rotational basis according to scheduling requirements
- Model and enforce the behaviors and service standards expected of the sales team
- Achieve and exceed all assigned sales and customer service targets
- Manage point-of-sale transactions and retail operations efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or beauty retail
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and opening/closing store procedures
- Previous supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience is required, preferably within cosmetics. Supervisory experience with responsibility for coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment with comfort managing retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events.
