The Estée Lauder Companies seeks an ambitious and inspirational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a prestige beauty retail location. The successful candidate will employ outstanding coaching and mentoring skills to lead by example, modeling the behaviors required of the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving all sales and customer service targets. Responsibilities include essential cash reconciliation at the start and end of each shift, as well as opening and closing the store on a rotating basis. This represents an excellent first supervisory role for a self-starter with prior retail experience seeking to advance within a leader in prestige beauty.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor sales team members by modeling exemplary customer service and sales behaviors
  • Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day store operations and team management
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation and register management
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve sales targets and customer service excellence
  • Ensure compliance with retail operations procedures and cash handling protocols
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
  • Work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events as scheduled

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing (desirable)
  • Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others (desirable)
  • Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software (desirable)
  • Proof of right to live and work in the United States

Experience

Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or beauty. Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable. Experience with retail point-of-sale software is beneficial.

No formal educational requirement specified; however, demonstrated retail knowledge and familiarity with prestige beauty categories is expected.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is USD 17.25 per hour.
