The Key Holder supports the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, coaches the sales team, delivers customer service standards and sales targets, handles daily cash reconciliation, and opens and closes the store on a rota basis. Full-time regular position at The Cosmetics Company Store in Deer Park, New York; hourly pay is $17.82–$29.69, with eligibility for a competitive bonus program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store.
- Lead by example through coaching and mentoring, modelling behaviours that enable the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalised customer service and achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Perform opening and closing cash reconciliation.
- Open and close the store on a rota basis.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalised customer service.
- Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and store opening and closing, is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets, is desirable.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the United States if invited to interview.
