The Key Holder supports the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the efficient operation of a prestige beauty retail location. This supervisory-track role emphasizes coaching and mentoring the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while meeting sales and service targets. Responsibilities include cash reconciliation, store opening and closing procedures, and floor leadership on a rotational basis. This position offers ambitious, self-motivated retail professionals their first supervisory experience within a leading global beauty company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor sales team members to model exemplary customer service behaviors and achieve sales targets
- Execute opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation and register management
- Lead and supervise sales floor operations during assigned shifts
- Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Maintain compliance with retail operations procedures and standards
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day store management
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Cash handling and point-of-sale software proficiency
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics. Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing is desirable. Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable.
