Role & Responsibilities

• Lead local indirect procurement operations managing annual indirect commodity and capital expenditure spends
• Consolidate purchasing power across brands and corporate departments to optimize category sourcing and drive cost savings
• Achieve year-on-year savings targets through Procurement Management Transformation initiatives while ensuring local adherence to PMT methodology
• Track, validate, and report supplier savings to regional procurement teams and internal stakeholders
• Govern execution of Global Procurement Policy, ensuring adaptation to local business, cultural, legal, regulatory, and economic requirements
• Co-lead strategic sourcing processes including RFI, RFQ, and RFP activities; conduct bid evaluation and supplier selection using category management methods
• Establish cross-functional procurement teams to deploy category management strategies across the country
• Increase spend visibility to engage procurement influence at specification design and decision-making stages
• Implement robust metrics and analytics to optimize local sourcing practices and enhance supply chain security, sustainability, and innovation
• Ensure high quality of goods and services while reducing supply continuity and contractual risks
• Brief internal stakeholders on deployment plans, timelines, activities, and respective responsibilities
• Maintain comprehensive contract repository of locally signed legal agreements
• Participate in resolution of supplier issues and disputes with early escalation protocols
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and identify sources for new technologies and market opportunities aligned with business requirements
• Measure and manage overall supplier performance using key performance indicators
• Drive supplier collaboration and innovation; maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
• Provide market and supplier intelligence to Regional Indirect Procurement team in Hong Kong for regional and global PMT initiatives
• Communicate project progress, issues, and initiative benefits to internal stakeholders and regional procurement teams
• Lead, coach, develop, train, and motivate local buyer networks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• 5–7 years of work experience in procurement within multinational corporations, preferably in a managerial role
• Proven fluency in written and spoken English
• Demonstrated success managing purchasing activities across mixed product categories
• Professional certification in purchasing or procurement (e.g., ISM CPM) desirable but not essential
• Six Sigma Certification
• Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills
• Strong negotiation and diplomatic skills with listening and analytical capabilities
• Proven ability to manage internal and external parties professionally
• Self-starter capable of working independently and remotely with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and process-oriented mindset
• High proficiency in MS Office and MS Project

Skills

Experience

5–7 years of procurement experience in multinational corporations, preferably in a managerial capacity managing mixed-category purchasing activities. Experience with Procurement Management Transformation initiatives, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration in regional or global environments is essential.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field; equivalent tertiary qualification acceptable.
