Estée Lauder Companies seeks an HR Specialist for maternity cover (80–100%) in Galgenen, Switzerland, December 2026–July 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage full personnel administration cycle including onboarding, amendments, and separations for over 400 employees
  • Serve as primary contact for line managers and employees on all HR process-related inquiries
  • Maintain time tracking systems and ensure their proper functioning
  • Independently prepare interim and employment certificates in German and English using designated certificate tools
  • Support training of apprentices within the HR department
  • Process employee life events including births, marriages, and service anniversaries
  • Coordinate with social insurance institutions and external agencies regarding accidents, maternity, paternity, and unpaid leave
  • Maintain statistics and prepare regular HR reporting
  • Contribute to local and global HR projects
  • Ensure all processes and documentation comply with internal (SOX) and external regulations including social insurance requirements
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with monthly payroll processing as knowledge permits

Qualifications

  • Completed HR training or equivalent qualification
  • Multi-year experience in personnel administration
  • Solid knowledge of employment law
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Ability to work precisely and efficiently, especially under pressure
  • Independent, structured, and conscientious work approach
  • Excellent communication skills with discretion and team orientation
  • Fluent German and English language skills
