The HR Operations Analyst leads HR data analytics, dashboard development, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, translating operational data into actionable insights and improving service delivery across internal teams and Managed Service Providers. The role leads or co-leads high-impact projects and requires at least 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst; employment is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop Operations Dashboards and ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Use Operations Dashboard data to detect trends, generate predictive analyses, and provide real-time insights that support optimized decision-making.
- Identify automation opportunities in HR data processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Design, build, and deploy automated solutions using tools such as Power Automate and UiPath.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to support clarity, governance, and continuity.
- Proactively identify analytical projects that extract insights from raw data and turn them into meaningful, impactful information.
- Lead or co-lead high-impact HR data and automation projects; collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, align on deliverables, and drive execution.
- Monitor projects from initiation through design, planning, execution, and completion, sometimes under tight deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance metrics.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including process streamlining, creating capacity through automation and integration opportunities, and improving SLAs by analyzing processes and reducing or eliminating hold times and backlogs.
- Work with stakeholders across HR Services delivered by internal PXT teams and Managed Service Providers.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with analytics and automation tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, and UiPath.
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Advanced MS Office and Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Pivots, Power Queries, combining multiple data sources, and Visual Basic programming.
- Experience leveraging AI models such as Co-Pilot and ChatGPT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with consulting and active listening abilities.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, including the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to identify patterns and variations in data and analysis.
- Strong learning agility for new processes and systems.
- Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, investigate issues, and formulate root-cause analyses.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems promptly and take initiative to improve processes and programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, pivot quickly, and complete assignments.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to identify when data-related issues require escalation.
- Ability to work with diverse audiences and manage effective relationships.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Knowledge of project management is desired.
- Knowledge of the Oracle HRIS system (PUI) and ServiceNow (SNOW) is a plus.
