The Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Global Indirect Procurement Senior Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across Facilities Management, Construction, Manufacturing, and Engineering services on a global and regional basis. This role demands sophisticated expertise in category strategy development, supplier governance, complex negotiations, and transformation initiatives, with accountability for spend portfolio management, KPI/SLA frameworks, and supplier risk mitigation. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner across cross-functional teams, driving cost optimization, operational efficiency, and procurement excellence while representing procurement best practices throughout the organization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and tactical delivery of procurement activities and sourcing projects across Facilities Management, Facilities Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, and related operational service categories
- Lead global and regional sourcing strategies focused on cost optimization, operational efficiency, service quality, supplier governance, and risk mitigation
- Develop and implement category strategies and sourcing roadmaps aligned with global and regional business objectives
- Lead complex RFPs, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, contract strategy, and supplier consolidation initiatives
- Own strategic supplier relationships and drive executive-level supplier governance with key global and regional partners
- Partner with stakeholders across Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to ensure alignment with operational priorities
- Negotiate commercial terms and contractual agreements while protecting brand reputation, operational continuity, and mitigating supplier and operational risks
- Support and lead transformation initiatives, including Integrated Facilities Management implementations and operational optimization programs
- Manage regional and global spend portfolios, including spend analytics, PO compliance, payment term adoption, and savings tracking
- Define and monitor supplier KPIs, SLAs, governance models, and performance management frameworks
- Support Capex projects, plant operations, maintenance programs, utilities, engineering services, and manufacturing support activities
- Monitor external market conditions, supplier capabilities, and industry trends to identify innovation and cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement supplier risk mitigation strategies and operational governance frameworks
- Utilize procurement systems and tools to optimize sourcing activities and reporting capabilities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure Procurement and business objectives are aligned
- Drive sustainability initiatives and support operational efficiency improvements across Facilities and Manufacturing
- Mentor and support procurement team members while promoting strategic sourcing capabilities
Qualifications
- Professional procurement certification such as CIPS preferred but not essential
- 8+ years of relevant experience in indirect procurement, Facilities Management, Facilities Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, or operational services within a regional or global organization
- Strong knowledge of Facilities Management operating models, including Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), hard services, soft services, maintenance, utilities, and workplace services
- Experience supporting Facilities Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering services, Capex projects, MRO, and plant operations
- Experience leading sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to manage strategic supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across regions
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including spend analysis, savings tracking, budgeting, and cost optimization
- Experience managing supplier governance programs, KPI/SLA frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives
- High level of interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective sourcing solutions
- Experience working in highly matrixed and multicultural organizations across regional and global environments
- Knowledge of procurement systems and tools such as SAP, SAP/Ariba, or SpendHQ
- Advanced data analysis capabilities
- Strong understanding of procurement governance, legal contracting principles, compliance requirements, and operational risk management

Experience working in highly matrixed and multicultural organizations across multiple regions is essential.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 103,000 to USD 168,000 per annum.
