Estée Lauder Companies seeks a freelance beauty sales associate to deliver makeup application, skincare advice, fragrance, and hair consultations in a retail environment. The role combines creative expertise with authentic customer service to create personalized, inspirational in-store experiences while maintaining premium visual merchandising standards and supporting in-store events. Candidates with makeup artistry certification or retail beauty experience are preferred, though beginner-level applicants demonstrating strong technical and creative skills are welcome.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide makeup application and skincare consultation services to customers
- Deliver personalized fragrance and hair consultation expertise
- Create welcoming and inspirational in-store experiences that educate customers
- Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to drive sales and engagement
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and process transactions
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing sales team to achieve store objectives
Qualifications
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Availability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Demonstrated high level of creative and technical expertise in beauty consultation
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proof of right to live and work in Canada
