Estée Lauder Companies seeks a skilled freelance beauty sales associate to deliver personalized consultations in makeup application, skincare, fragrance, and hair care within a luxury retail environment. The role combines creative expertise with customer engagement to provide an inspirational in-store experience while contributing to visual merchandising excellence and participating in in-store events. Prior retail or makeup experience is desirable but not required; the company welcomes candidates at all skill levels committed to professional development and customer-centric service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application, skincare consultations, fragrance, and hair care advice tailored to individual customer preferences
- Deliver personalized, authentic, and inspirational customer service in a luxury retail setting
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to differentiate against competitors
- Participate in coordinated in-store events and promotional activities as part of a high-performing team
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and process transactions accurately
- Work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate creative and technical expertise in beauty or retail (prior experience preferred but not required)
- Capability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proof of right to live and work in Canada
- Certification in makeup artistry is desirable but not required

Experience
Retail experience in beauty, makeup, skincare, or fragrance is preferred; however, candidates with amateur-level expertise and demonstrated creative and technical ability are welcome to apply.

Compensation
