Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the financial strategy for direct procurement, including long-range planning and annual savings targets
- Partner with Direct Procurement team to identify and drive year-over-year cost savings initiatives
- Manage procurement budget, estimate departmental expenses, and monitor capital projects for compliance with Corporate Capital Control Policies
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting on direct procurement activities, including procurement cost tracking and supplier performance evaluation
- Oversee direct materials spend, monitor and analyze procurement costs, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements
- Review price/product variances (PPV) and production variances globally, conducting analysis to determine need for cost changes and ensuring rollout
- Support direct procurement and inbound transportation savings projects through monthly and quarterly monitoring and communication of results
- Drive inbound transportation standardized efficient closing practices on a global basis and manage third-party partner expense monitoring and invoicing
- Enhance TPM (Third-Party Management) and dTPM reporting to provide actionable insights across the manufacturing landscape
- Support the Direct teams in maintaining a sound internal financial controls environment through business partnering and collaboration
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or engineering; MBA preferred
- At least 7 years of related experience in procurement finance, supply chain finance, or direct procurement operations
- Deep understanding of direct procurement processes, transportation logistics, and cost optimization strategies
- Expertise in developing, managing, and reporting on budgets and forecasts
- Advanced ability to conduct thorough financial analysis related to procurement costs, supplier performance, and market trends
- Excellent business partnering, influencing, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership capabilities to guide financial strategy and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment and remain comfortable with ambiguity
