Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Finance Assistant in Ho Chi Minh City for a 1-year contract role focused on month-end closing, GL maintenance, and financial reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in month-end closing activities with assigned timelines
- Maintain the General Ledger and verify transaction accuracy across departments
- Conduct monthly review of Net Sales, COGS, Operating Expenses, and Profit & Loss performance against prior period, budget, and forecasts
- Perform monthly balance sheet review
- Collaborate with regional and outsourcing finance & accounting teams on accounting matters and system uploads
- Support the Finance Manager in building and implementing internal control processes to achieve compliance
- Provide data and analysis for annual budget and monthly forecasting processes
- Evaluate brand financial forecasts and assess financial risks and opportunities
- Develop P&L simulations to support business development initiatives, including new counter openings and brand launches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy
- 3–5 years of relevant financial accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience with Big4 or other audit firms (preferred)
- Power BI or Power Query skills (preferred)
- Fluent English and Vietnamese communication

Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy.
