Estée Lauder Companies seeks an EHS Specialist in Agincourt, Ontario to manage compliance, inspections, audits, and safety training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support site compliance with Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Environment and Climate Change regulations through comprehensive inspections, audits, and follow-up activities
- Develop, update, and maintain EHS Level II standard operating procedures, forms, and training materials aligned with current regulatory requirements and global EHS standards
- Lead environmental health and safety risk assessments and coordinate implementation of corrective actions
- Maintain, coordinate, and organize EHS training programs including PIT and other compliance requirements, with support for procurement and budget management
- Perform regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and equipment issues
- Assist with data collection, verification, and reporting for all EHS programs, particularly environmental regulations
- Deliver and continuously improve EHS training sessions for new hires and recurring compliance programs
- Participate in incident investigations, support the reporting process, and collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve root causes
- Identify and support sustainability initiatives including recycling and energy conservation programs
- Collaborate with facility, distribution, and operations teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks
- Participate in internal and external audits and support implementation of innovative solutions
- Monitor and contribute to achievement of EHS key performance indicators and dashboard reporting
- Promote active employee engagement in EHS programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with EHS managers and the broader EHS team to integrate initiatives and share best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in an EHS-related role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CRST certification with progress toward CRSP, EP, ROH, or CIH
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with EHS software and tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Education
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
