Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Material Handler to perform distribution and warehouse operations in Bristol, Pennsylvania, supporting the supply chain function during the second shift. The role involves loading and unloading materials, operating powered material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy through warehouse management systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing standards. Candidates must obtain Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) certification and forklift certification within 90 days of employment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials shipped to and from interplant and outside facilities
- Verify accuracy of transactions and compare to actual production, including physical inspection of goods to validate condition
- Operate manual and power material handling equipment to retrieve, putaway, and replenish materials throughout the facility and load onto transportation vehicles
- Utilize warehouse management systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders
- Ensure correct pallets are used and built based on EXACTA and customer supplier criteria
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control as required
- Troubleshoot and communicate problems to ensure timely turnover in shipping and sortation areas
- Complete pre-shift checklists on all powered material handling equipment, including battery water, charging, and cleaning
- Maintain a clean work environment, including sorting pallets, wrapping stacked cardboard on pallets, and communicating any quality changes
- Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Perform various other duties as assigned, including assisting with training of new employees
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in general warehouse environment preferred
- Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate basic Microsoft Windows Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for several hours daily
- Capacity to lift maximum 50 lbs and frequently lift and carry up to 35 lbs

Experience
Some experience in a general warehouse environment is preferred, though entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and reliability may be considered. Forklift certification is mandatory within 90 days of employment.
