The Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Distribution Material Handler to support manufacturing and logistics operations at its Bristol facility. This role involves loading and unloading materials, verifying shipment accuracy, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring inventory control across the distribution center. The Material Handler maintains workplace safety protocols and sustainability practices while supporting production timelines and customer fulfillment requirements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from interplant and outside facilities
- Verify accuracy of transactions and conduct physical inspection of goods to validate condition
- Operate manual and power material handling equipment for retrieval, putaway, and replenishment throughout the facility
- Utilize warehouse management systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders
- Ensure correct pallets are built according to EXACTA and customer supplier specifications
- Maintain inventory accuracy and stock control as required
- Troubleshoot and communicate problems to ensure timely turnover in shipping and sortation areas
- Complete pre-shift checklists on powered material handling equipment including battery water, charging, and cleaning
- Maintain clean work environment including sorting pallets and wrapping stacked cardboard
- Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Assist with training of new employees as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification mandatory after 90 days
- Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) License required
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift maximum 50 lbs and frequently carry up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for several hours daily
- Problem-solving and attention to detail

Experience
Experience in a general warehouse environment is preferred; the role is suitable for entry-level candidates with foundational warehouse or logistics exposure.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
