Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Digital Designer in London for its online design team supporting UK beauty brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create ready-to-implement digital assets for UK brand trading activities, including localising global assets, editing existing creative and designing assets from scratch.
- Design hero banners, landing pages and email marketing.
- Edit and crop photographic assets; compose and manipulate images.
- Localise creative from global teams for the UK market to maximise regional effectiveness.
- Slice design files to output assets.
- Act as brand guardian for a group of brands and serve as the team’s design-language subject matter expert for those brands.
- Collaborate with the in-house creative studio on key projects.
- Work closely with digital designers, the Senior Digital Designer, scrum master, UX, Business Operations and brand stakeholders.
- Work alongside and mentor junior designers, helping develop their capabilities.
Qualifications
- In-depth professional experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- In-depth production design experience creating digital content such as banners, landing pages, emails and social content.
- Solid understanding of responsive web design.
- Ability to understand and interpret brand guidelines and design templates.
- Strong background in digital graphic design, with a proven understanding of typography, layout and grid structures.
- Image manipulation experience using traditional and Firefly AI-enhanced techniques.
- Good time-management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and confident presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Desirable: interest in and knowledge of web accessibility.
- Desirable: experience iterating creative based on performance data insights or A/B testing.
- Desirable: experience designing for dark mode.
- Desirable: experience managing tasks in Jira.
- Desirable: interest in luxury and beauty retail.
