Estée Lauder Companies seeks an experienced Department Store Manager to lead and oversee sales operations across multiple cosmetics counters in a premium retail environment. The successful candidate will manage budget targets, drive sales performance, coach and develop counter teams, analyze KPIs, and ensure exemplary customer service and brand compliance at all times.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage budget targets and capitalize on business opportunities to achieve sales results
- Coach, motivate, and develop individual counter teams to optimize performance and prepare them for career advancement
- Drive retail sales performance across Estée Lauder Companies brands and motivate teams to meet and exceed targets
- Monitor and analyze business KPIs, evaluate team and individual performance, and develop action plans to optimize sales results and team productivity
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards and guarantee a positive customer experience at all counters
- Identify and implement market trends and actions that support brand strategy and expand customer reach
- Oversee optimal staffing and scheduling of counter teams
- Supervise counter appearance, merchandising compliance, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety across the department
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the cosmetics industry
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage large teams
- Demonstrated expertise in retail KPIs and performance management
- Strong analytical, commercial, and organizational capability
- Structured working approach with meticulous attention to detail
- Stress-resistant and solution-oriented mindset
- Genuine passion for cosmetics and beauty
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent in Dutch and English
