Estée Lauder Companies seeks an analytically minded intern to join the Commercialization & Validation Engineering team within its EMEA–UK&I operations hub in Oevel, Belgium. The successful candidate will centralize data from multiple sources, manage databases and Power BI dashboards, conduct analytical investigations to identify process optimization opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making and governance. This role offers structured exposure to contemporary data analytics practices within a prestigious global beauty conglomerate.
Role & Responsibilities
- Centralize and integrate data from multiple organizational sources to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems
- Maintain and manage Excel databases, relational data repositories, and Power BI analytical infrastructure with focus on data quality and efficient storage
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that translate complex datasets into actionable business intelligence for stakeholder decision-making
- Conduct data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and process improvement opportunities, formulating evidence-based recommendations in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Liaise with multiple business units to understand data requirements, translate operational needs into analytical solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
- Participate in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, compliance protocols, and data integrity safeguards
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or pursuing a degree in IT Management, Applied Information Sciences, or Software Management (Bachelor or Master level)
- Currently bound by a formal internship agreement with an accredited educational institution
- Fluent in Dutch with professional proficiency in English
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated capability in data interpretation and problem-solving
