The Commercial Operations Intern supports retail performance analysis and reporting, store master data, retailer projects, vendor and event coordination, business travel, and administrative activities for the Commercial team. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur; no contract terms are stated.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the consolidation and analysis of retail performance data, including sales, transactions, traffic, conversion, AST and UPT.
- Prepare and update door-level, retailer and channel performance reports and presentation materials.
- Support new customer and door-code creation, including preparing and tracking required documentation.
- Maintain accurate store information, including SAP door codes, addresses, retailer details and outlet information.
- Assist with retailer and channel projects, store visits and market reviews.
- Consolidate store information, performance data and supporting materials into management-ready Excel and PowerPoint outputs.
- Assist with vendor registration, supporting documentation and payment-related administration.
- Support commercial and company events through guest-list coordination, logistics, vendor follow-up and documentation.
- Support business travel arrangements and documentation where required.
- Provide general coordination and administrative support to ensure timely completion of Commercial team activities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with data and numbers.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to follow through on assigned actions.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- An interest in beauty, retail, consumer goods or commercial operations is an advantage.
