Estée Lauder Companies seeks an analytically minded intern to support the development and deployment of data analytics tools serving Commercial, Marketing, and Finance teams. The role encompasses performance monitoring through key business indicators (Sell-In and Sell-Out), Power BI dashboard creation and maintenance, data integrity assurance, and identification of opportunities for process automation and AI integration. The intern will work alongside the Business Analyst Manager to drive operational excellence and data-informed decision-making across the beauty and luxury goods organisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) including Sell-In and Sell-Out metrics
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and identify commercial business opportunities
- Contribute to the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards
- Ensure data reliability and consistency across reporting tools and systems
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation and reporting optimisation
- Explore emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and digital tools to enhance team efficiency
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders on analytics projects
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (Bac+4 or Bac+5) in Business School, Engineering, or University programme focused on Data, Business Analytics, Finance, or Management Control
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or equivalent data visualisation tools
- Demonstrated analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability
- Autonomy and ability to work independently within a structured team environment
- Interest in data science, process automation, and artificial intelligence applications
Skills
Experience
First exposure to data analysis tools and business analytics is valued; prior internship or project experience in a related discipline is appreciated but not required.
Education
Bac+4 or Bac+5 degree in Commerce, Engineering, or University programme specialising in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or Management Control.
