Estée Lauder Companies seeks a skilled Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences through expert makeup application and consultation. The role combines creative technical expertise with customer engagement to educate and delight clientele whilst maintaining premium visual merchandising standards. Role & Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, personalized, and inspirational in-store beauty consultations and makeup applications tailored to individual customer needs
- Educate customers on makeup application techniques, product benefits, and brand heritage with authentic, confident expertise
- Collaborate with in-store teams to conceptualize and execute high-impact beauty events and promotional activations
- Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to differentiate the brand against competitors
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently whilst processing customer transactions
- Build lasting customer relationships through consistent, memorable service and personalized product recommendations
- Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and product knowledge maintenance throughout scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or previous professional retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience welcome if paired with demonstrable creative and technical expertise
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Capacity to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Proof of right to live and work in India
Skills
Experience
Certification or professional experience in makeup artistry is preferred; however, candidates demonstrating high-level creative and technical expertise at an amateur level are also encouraged to apply. Previous retail makeup or beauty counter experience is advantageous.
Education
No specific formal education requirement; makeup artistry certification or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.
