Estée Lauder Companies seeks a skilled freelance beauty advisor to deliver personalized in-store consultations in makeup application, skincare, hair, and fragrance. The role combines creative and technical expertise with exceptional customer service to create inspirational shopping experiences while maintaining visual merchandising excellence. Certification in makeup artistry and prior retail experience are desirable but not required; the organization welcomes candidates with varying levels of expertise and provides comprehensive training and development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application, skincare consultations, hair advice, and fragrance recommendations tailored to individual customer needs
- Deliver personalized, authentic, and inspirational customer service that educates and delights clients
- Collaborate with the in-store team to execute high-impact retail events and promotional activities
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and contribute to a compelling store presentation
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Work flexibly across varying retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
