This role combines creative expertise and technical proficiency to deliver an inspirational, personalized in-store beauty experience. The successful candidate will educate customers on makeup application, drive sales through consultative engagement, and contribute to high-impact in-store events. Certification in makeup artistry or prior retail counter experience is preferred, though passionate candidates with amateur-level skills and strong creative abilities are welcome to apply.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized makeup consultations and application services to educate and delight customers
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure counter presentation aligns with brand guidelines
- Execute in-store promotional events and product launches to maximize customer engagement
- Process customer transactions with accuracy using retail point-of-sale systems
- Provide authentic, inspirational customer service that reflects brand values and builds loyalty
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or equivalent retail counter experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated creative and technical makeup expertise at professional or amateur level
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational and personalized customer service
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Legal right to work in Mexico
Skills
Experience
Previous retail makeup counter experience is desirable; however, candidates with strong creative abilities and amateur-level makeup expertise are encouraged to apply. Experience with retail point-of-sale software is beneficial.
Education
Makeup artistry certification is preferred but not required.
