A highly skilled makeup artist providing personalized, inspirational in-store beauty consultations and makeovers to customers while educating them on prestige cosmetics products. The role combines creative expertise, technical proficiency, and customer engagement to deliver exceptional brand experiences, support high-impact in-store events, and maintain premium visual merchandising standards. Candidates demonstrate strong creative and technical abilities with customer service excellence; formal makeup artistry certification or retail beauty experience is preferred but amateur-level experience paired with demonstrated expertise will be considered.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, inspirational in-store makeup consultations and applications that educate and delight customers
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising within the store to differentiate the brand against competitors
- Collaborate with the store team to conceptualize and execute high-impact in-store events and campaigns
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently during transactions
- Build authentic customer relationships through knowledgeable product recommendations and prestige beauty expertise
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical makeup expertise
- Professional ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
- Capability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Proven experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Proof of right to live and work in India (required before interview)
Skills
Experience
While formal makeup artistry certification or previous retail beauty experience is preferred, the company welcomes applicants with amateur-level makeup experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise and a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment.
Education
Makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not required; amateur-level experience with demonstrable technical and creative expertise will be considered.
