This role combines creative artistry and technical expertise to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store beauty experiences at a multibrand prestige cosmetics retailer. The Beauty Advisor educates customers, executes makeup applications, and participates in in-store events while maintaining visual merchandising standards. The position offers training and career development within a leader in prestige beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized and inspirational makeup consultations and applications for customers
- Educate customers about product benefits, ingredients, and application techniques
- Participate in and execute in-store promotional events and beauty activations
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and counter presentation to differentiate the brand
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and manage transactions
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing in-store team
- Demonstrate product knowledge across the multibrand portfolio
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience with demonstrated creative and technical expertise also considered
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Availability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in India
Skills
Experience
While makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, candidates with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise and inspirational customer service capabilities are encouraged to apply.
Education
Makeup artistry certification preferred but not required; secondary education or equivalent expected.
