A prestige beauty specialist role combining creative makeup expertise with personalized customer service in a luxury retail environment. The Beauty Advisor provides inspirational in-store experiences, delivers professional makeup consultations, leads in-store beauty events, and maintains visual merchandising standards. This position offers entry-level candidates with amateur makeup experience an opportunity to develop expertise within a prestigious global beauty company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, inspirational makeup consultations and demonstrations to customers in-store
- Execute professional makeup applications and skincare recommendations aligned with luxury beauty standards
- Organize and facilitate in-store beauty events and product launches to drive customer engagement
- Maintain store visual merchandising and displays to premium standards to differentiate the boutique
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing retail team to meet sales and service targets
- Educate customers on product benefits, ingredients, and application techniques
- Build lasting customer relationships and support loyalty initiatives
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical makeup expertise

Skills
Experience
Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred but not required. Applicants with amateur-level makeup experience and a demonstrable passion for prestige beauty are encouraged to apply. Prior retail experience in luxury or multibrand beauty environments is advantageous.
Education
Makeup artistry certification or formal cosmetology training is desirable but not mandatory. Secondary education is expected.
