Highly skilled makeup artist combining creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences that educate and delight customers in prestige beauty. Collaborates with high-performing teams to execute impactful in-store events and maintain visual merchandising excellence. While makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, passionate candidates with amateur-level experience and demonstrated technical proficiency are welcomed.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store beauty consultation and makeover services
- Educate customers on product benefits and application techniques aligned with their preferences and skin types
- Collaborate with team members to execute high-impact in-store events and promotional activities
- Maintain and elevate visual merchandising standards throughout the beauty counter to differentiate from competitors
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and manage transactions efficiently during all retail hours
- Achieve store sales targets and performance metrics while consistently delivering exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience with demonstrated high-level creative and technical expertise also considered
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Right to live and work in Mexico (proof required if invited to interview)
Skills
Experience
While previous retail makeup experience or professional makeup artistry certification is preferred, candidates with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are encouraged to apply.
Education
Certification in makeup artistry is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is expected.
