The Beauty Advisor combines make-up artistry and customer-service skills to deliver personalized in-store experiences, support events and maintain visual merchandising standards. This is a seasonal, part-time role at The Cosmetic Company Store in Monroe, Ohio, paying $18–$20 per hour with eligibility for a competitive bonus program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Combine creative and technical make-up expertise with a passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Collaborate with the team to create impact through in-store events.
- Ensure the store meets high visual merchandising standards and stands out against competitors.
Qualifications
- A make-up artistry qualification or previous retail make-up experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in the country must be provided if invited to interview.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18 to USD 20 per hour.
