Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Beauty Advisor to inspire and delight clients through expert product knowledge, personalized service, and commercial acumen. In this part-time, temporary role at The Cosmetics Company Store in Bataviastad, the incumbent will deliver memorable in-store experiences while driving sales performance and achieving commercial targets. The position demands proficiency in skincare, makeup, and fragrance expertise, coupled with the ability to cultivate authentic connections with clientele and maximize sales opportunities across a diverse customer base.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, memorable in-store experiences by providing expert product guidance and beauty consultations to clients
- Educate and inspire customers with comprehensive knowledge of skincare, makeup, fragrances, and beauty trends
- Maximize sales opportunities by confidently recommending products and achieving individual and team sales targets
- Provide luxury service rooted in authenticity, expertise, and personalized attention to each client
- Maintain exceptional product knowledge and stay current with the latest beauty trends and social media developments
- Contribute actively to team performance and support store-wide commercial success
- Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special events as required

Qualifications
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beauty industry
- 2–3 years of professional experience in a beauty role or equivalent
- Expertise in luxury service delivery with focus on inspiration, authenticity, and personalization
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Current knowledge of beauty trends and proficiency with social media platforms
- Degree or certification as an esthetician, beauty consultant, or equivalent (preferred)
- Fluency in both Dutch and English
- Flexibility to accommodate store hours, including evenings, weekends, and special promotional events
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of sales experience in the beauty industry, or 2–3 years in a dedicated beauty role. Prior experience delivering luxury service in a retail or hospitality environment is highly valued.
Education
Secondary education required. Certification or degree as an esthetician, beauty consultant, or equivalent is advantageous but not mandatory.
