As a highly skilled Beauty Advisor, this role combines creative expertise and technical proficiency to deliver personalized in-store experiences that educate and delight customers across prestige beauty brands. The position requires expertise in makeup application and color consultation, combined with the ability to drive sales through inspirational customer engagement and participation in in-store events, whilst maintaining the highest standards of visual merchandising and brand representation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application and consultations to customers, demonstrating product benefits and educating clients on techniques
- Deliver personalized, inspirational customer service experiences that align with luxury brand positioning and drive sales conversion
- Participate actively in in-store events and product launches to create impact and build customer loyalty
- Maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the assigned counter or beauty section to ensure competitive market positioning
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems efficiently and accurately to complete transactions and process customer data
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing retail team to achieve store-wide performance targets
- Build and maintain customer relationships through authentic engagement and follow-up communications
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)
- Previous retail or counter experience in prestige beauty or luxury goods (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to provide personalized, authentic customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software and systems
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in the country
Skills
Experience
Makeup artistry certification and/or previous retail beauty counter experience is preferred; however, candidates with demonstrated amateur-level creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply. Experience in luxury retail or prestige beauty environments is desirable.
Education
Certification in makeup artistry or cosmetology is preferred but not strictly required; secondary education or equivalent is expected.
