Estée Lauder Companies seeks skilled freelance beauty advisors to deliver personalized in-store experiences through makeup application, skincare consultation, fragrance guidance, or hair expertise. The role combines creative and technical acumen with passionate customer engagement, creating inspirational product education and memorable retail moments. Candidates will collaborate within high-performing teams on in-store events and visual merchandising initiatives whilst maintaining elevated brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized makeup application, skincare advice, fragrance consultations, or hair guidance tailored to individual customer needs
- Create welcoming and inspirational in-store experiences that educate customers about prestige beauty products
- Execute in-store events and promotional activities as part of a collaborative team
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation to achieve competitive differentiation
- Operate point-of-sale systems and complete transactions accurately
- Demonstrate authentic, customer-centric service in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Creative and technical expertise in at least one beauty discipline (makeup, skincare, fragrance, or hair)
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proof of right to live and work in Canada
- Certification in makeup artistry or prior retail beauty experience is desirable but not required

Experience
Retail beauty experience is preferred; however, candidates with amateur-level expertise demonstrating strong creative and technical proficiency are welcomed. Prior retail or customer-facing roles are advantageous.
Education
Certification in makeup artistry or equivalent beauty training is desirable but not a prerequisite. Candidates with beginner-level expertise and willingness to develop skills are encouraged to apply.
