As a highly skilled makeup artist with Estée Lauder, this role combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for personalized customer service to deliver an inspirational, welcoming in-store experience. The incumbent will educate and delight customers through makeup artistry, collaborate with a high-performing team on in-store events and visual merchandising initiatives, and maintain the brand's elevated retail standards. While makeup artistry certification or previous retail beauty experience is preferred, the company welcomes candidates with amateur-level experience who demonstrate strong creative and technical capability and commitment to professional development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, inspirational makeup artistry services and beauty consultations to customers
- Educate customers on product features, application techniques, and brand offerings to enhance their in-store experience
- Collaborate with store team on coordinating in-store events, beauty demonstrations, and promotional activities
- Maintain elevated visual merchandising standards and ensure store displays align with brand positioning
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently during transactions
- Support the achievement of store sales targets and performance objectives through engaging customer interactions
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry qualification or previous retail beauty experience preferred; amateur-level experience welcome if demonstrating high creative and technical expertise
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Legal right to work in Mexico; proof of residency required upon interview invitation
Skills
Experience
Makeup artistry certification or previous retail beauty counter experience is preferred. Candidates with amateur-level makeup experience who can demonstrate exceptional creative and technical skill are also encouraged to apply.
Education
