A skilled makeup artist role combining creative and technical expertise with personalized customer service in a luxury beauty retail environment. The position involves delivering inspirational in-store experiences, executing in-store events, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and providing expert consultation to customers. Certification in makeup artistry and previous retail beauty experience are preferred; however, applicants demonstrating exceptional creative and technical abilities at amateur level are welcomed.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized, inspirational, and authentic beauty consultations and in-store experiences to customers
  • Provide makeup application services and professional product recommendations
  • Collaborate with in-store team members to create and execute beauty events and promotional activities
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to differentiate against competitors
  • Operate retail point-of-sale systems efficiently and accurately
  • Work flexibly across retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
  • Contribute to a high-performing team culture while representing the prestige beauty brand

Qualifications

  • Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail beauty experience preferred; amateur-level experience with demonstrated creative and technical expertise also considered
  • Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Capacity to work flexible retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with retail point-of-sale software systems
  • Legal right to live and work in Ireland; proof required if invited to interview

Experience
