This position combines creative artistry with personalized customer service to deliver an inspirational in-store beauty experience. The Beauty Advisor will provide expert makeup application and consultation, drive in-store events, and maintain visual merchandising standards that distinguish the brand from competitors. Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert makeup application, consultation, and personalized beauty advice to customers in an engaging and welcoming manner
- Execute in-store events and promotional activities to create impact and drive sales performance
- Maintain and elevate visual merchandising standards to ensure the store environment reflects brand positioning and stands out against competitors
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and manage transactions accurately
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing store team to achieve sales and service targets
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and application techniques to build brand loyalty and repeat business
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience acceptable with demonstrated creative and technical expertise
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Right to live and work in Australia with ability to provide proof upon request
Skills
Experience
While certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply.
Education
Certification in makeup artistry or equivalent professional training is desirable but not required.
