Estée Lauder Companies seeks a skilled Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences across its prestige beauty portfolio. This part-time role combines creative expertise and passion for customer service, requiring proficiency in makeup application, skincare knowledge, and retail point-of-sale systems. The successful candidate will contribute to in-store events, maintain visual merchandising standards, and represent the company's commitment to excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, personalized, and inspirational in-store customer experiences that educate and delight
- Combine creative and technical expertise to deliver makeup application and skincare consultations
- Collaborate with the sales team on in-store events and promotional activities to drive impact and sales
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising to differentiate the store from competitors
- Operate retail point-of-sale software and process customer transactions
- Work flexibly across retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
Qualifications
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proof of right to live and work in the United States
- Retail sales certification preferred; amateur-level experience with demonstrated creative and technical expertise accepted
Skills
Experience
Retail sales experience in beauty or cosmetics is desirable; however, applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with prestige beauty brands is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.39 to USD 32.31 per hour.
