A skilled makeup artist combining creative expertise and technical proficiency to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store beauty experiences for customers. The role encompasses consultative selling, product education, and participation in in-store events while maintaining visual merchandising standards. Makeup artistry certification or retail beauty experience is preferred but not required; applicants demonstrating amateur-level expertise with strong customer service capabilities are welcome.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, consultative makeup application and product recommendations tailored to individual customer needs and preferences
• Create inspirational and welcoming in-store beauty experiences that educate customers on product benefits and usage
• Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to drive sales and brand engagement
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and product displays to enhance the competitive positioning of the store
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and organizational objectives
• Build authentic relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business

Qualifications

• Demonstrable creative and technical expertise in makeup application (formal certification or retail experience preferred, amateur-level experience considered)
• Proven ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Availability to work retail hours including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Right to live and work in India (proof required)

Skills

Experience

While previous retail makeup experience or professional makeup artistry qualification is preferred, applications from candidates with amateur-level expertise who can demonstrate strong creative, technical, and customer service capabilities will be considered.

Education

Makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not mandatory; high school education or equivalent is expected.
