Role & Responsibilities
- Execute formulation development and testing activities for assigned projects with increasing independence
- Support end-to-end product development lifecycle from prototype through first production under guidance
- Generate, analyze, and document experimental data to inform formulation decisions and technical assessments
- Collaborate across R&D, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Product Development functions to support project execution
- Identify and escalate technical risks and opportunities with proposed solutions
- Build foundational expertise in raw materials, formulation principles, and product performance evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (chemistry preferred)
- 0–2 years of professional experience in research, formulation development, or product science
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Outlook email experience required
- Knowledge of R&D information management systems preferred (not required)
- Ability to work effectively in laboratory and manufacturing environments, including standing at lab benches, wearing required personal protective equipment, and operating equipment such as mixers, homogenizers, and hot water baths
- Capability to evaluate skincare products on hand and face
