The Estée Lauder Companies seeks an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a sales team to achieve all sales, customer service, and operational targets at a prestige beauty retail location. Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the sales team to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Provide inspirational and personalized customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Coach and mentor Sales Associates to reach their full potential and drive individual and team performance
- Manage retail operations including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Oversee retail point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensure accurate transaction processing
- Schedule staff and manage team availability for retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve targets
- Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and brand presentation
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory and team leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring staff to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Extensive retail operations knowledge including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Legal right to work in Canada
